Sustainable Tourism

Sustainable Tourism focuses on empirical work and case studies from around the world, which can offer new insights and best practice guidance.

Sustainable Tourism explores issues concerned with achieving environmental social and economic sustainability of tourism alongside the governance mechanisms needed to support sustainable tourism. Sustainable Tourism also discusses how new resources ought to be employed to avoid the errors committed in the past and propose remedial actions when required.

It is the mission of Sustainable Tourism to foster greater understanding and collaboration between scientists and social science experts, practitioners and policy makers. As such, Sustainable Tourism takes a broad view of the industry and examines the practice of sustainable tourism from global travel trends through to destination and site management.
